With no regrets,
Or second thoughts,
My mind’s too numb to grieve,
My heart is set,
The ticket’s bought,
It’s time to leave,
Like rising smoke,
Is disappearing,
So my plans did fade,
Like a circus clown,
With a smiling frown,
I marched in your parade,
Yet I don’t regret our time together,
No I have no regrets,
It’s just time that I should be moving on,
I somehow knew it wouldn’t last forever,
But I have no regrets,
The time for that is gone
For years I’ve thought,
About this day,
And how that you might act,
On finding that,
I’ve gone away,
And never coming back,
I’m leaving now,
With no regrets,
I believe in lessons learned,
You took from me,
My very best,
And I feel that I was burned,
Yet I don’t regret our time together,
No I have no regrets,
It’s just time that I should be moving on,
I somehow knew it wouldn’t last forever,
But I have no regrets,
The time for that is gone,
